Hi, I’m Vanessa!

I have worked with Sound Post teams for over 25 years and observed their incredible talent and dedication to their craft. For many years I worked with Brendan Donnison at Lyps Inc. The company was one the first professional ADR Loop Group and Voice casting companies to exist in the UK and gained a worldwide and international reputation. I was very lucky to have been a part of it for 13 years.

In 2013 I created Blend Audio – The UK Loop Group and over the years I have witnessed many changes within this niche specialist area.  It has evolved and is now recognized as a specialist ‘Casting Department’ and we are proud to support sound editorial here in the UK and Internationally.

I have always compared a Loop Group to that of a Theatre repertory company, that we create and cast for the day. We have enormous fun around the microphone covering Butlers, Waiters, Police, Nurses, Shopkeepers, endless screaming and battles. You name it we have probably covered it.

The ADR Voice actors never get enough recognition for the incredible skill set they bring to the soundtrack. They are lip-synching ‘fix it in post ‘dubbing legends.

Over the years I learnt a lot about voice directing and line delivery from some of the world’s most renowned Directors that I have been lucky enough to work with and observe over the years, and indeed the incredible voice talent that has graced the dubbing stage. However, I mostly learnt an awful lot from Brendan, a master craftsman, and value the memory box of our working years together.

Keeping it simple is the key.
